Instructions For Magical Insects My Insect Jars Activity
- On the coloured papers, draw the insect jars.
- Dip your fingers in different colours and make fingerprints of any insect. We chose spider, honeybee, and ladybird.
- Once the paint has dried, define them using sketch pens.
Your insect jars are ready!
Once done, help your toddler describe each insect in the jar. Then, help them narrate a story using all the insects!
As your child dabs colours and creates fingerprints, it’s a tactile sensory experience. This apart, they learn about insects and identifies different colours.
